192.168 1.1 is used as the default gateway and management address by various computer routers and modems
If you open up httP//192.168 1.1 in your browser than you will be able to configure and modify the settings of your router
However to access 192.168 1.1 you will need a password, if you have not changed or logged in to the device or modem earlier than your password is most likely to be the default password for the device.
Every device has a different default password, you need to know the make and model of your device to find out its default password
This information is readily available on the device itself, Note the model (e.g di 604) and make (e.g. d-link) and enter this info in search box at top right of this page, this will search our database of different modem and router passwords
