The Default IP address used by Linksys routers is 192.168.1.1

for your internet connection to work properly you should be able to ping the default IP address of your router

the default IP of the linksys router can also be changed by configuring the router, if you suspect that it has been changed than reset the modem to factory settings and you will be back the 192.168.1.1.

If you are connected to the router than you can also find out the current default IP addresss in use by clicking on the network computer in taskbar

In the screenshot below the default Gateway is showing the IP address currently assigned to the linksys router
